Leonard is basically self-taught but has taught watercolor,
matting and framing for many years. He is a member of the Washington
Society of Landscape Painters as well as many local art organizations
and has exhibited his works throughout the Metropolitan Washington
area receiving many awards.
His work can be found in many private collections both in this
country and abroad. His studio is located in the historic Ford
