Frank
Mertes has photographed Western Europe during 23 trips to the
Continent. He also has photographed extensively in South America,
the Orient, Morocco, Kenya, and the United States. Frank has been
named three times as Photographer of the Year by the Northern
Virginia Photographic Society. Over 20 of his photographs have
been accepted in juried all media art exhibitions conducted by
the Art League, Vienna Arts of Antelope Canyon received a first
place award in the Open Exhibition sponsored by the Arts Council
of Fairfax County and juried by J. Carter Brown, Director Emeritus
of the National Gallery.
